SUMMARY:Exhibit It! A Community Art Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:Exhibit It! A Community Art Exhibit \nIt’s time for our annual non-juried exhibit to highlight the talent of our community’s artists! Artists ages 16 and up can drop off one artwork of their choice in any medium to the Pence on June 29\, 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM\, to be displayed in our summer display Exhibit It! Participating artists can win the Curator’s Choice award\, or the Public Choice award\, chosen by visitors to the exhibit. \nThe Pence will accept up to 50 works of art\, limited in size to 30″ maximum in any direction (including the frame). Sculpture cannot weigh over 50 lb. 2D work should be framed\, or ready to install. This is a first come\, first served basis. No early drop-offs allowed.  \nWhen dropping off on June 29\, artists will fill out a contract for their artwork prior to paying the submission fee. Artists should have all of their artwork’s information prepared\, including the title\, medium\, dimensions\, retail price\, etc. You may have someone else drop off your work for you\, but they must be able to fill out the entire artist contract with your information. \nDrop off date: June 29\, 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM (ends once we receive 50 artworks) \nSubmission fee: $20 Pence Members\, $30 Non-Members \nExhibit dates: July 5 – August 18\, 2023 \nReception: July 14\, 6 – 9 PM (Awards at 8 PM) \nThis exhibit is sponsored by Phil & Dawn Daro. \n  \n

Now\, as if shot out of a cannon through the heart of a rainbow\, the Mess is here bringing a kaleidoscopic mix of extraterrestrial hooks\, vibrant grooves and potent beats\, purely for your entertainment. Close your eyes and hear the funky jams reminiscent of decades past with a sound much larger than the three piece arrangement before you should allow. So slip another drop under your tongue and join the inter-planetary groove train that is the Big Sticky Mess.
