DESCRIPTION:Peregrine School welcomes you to WISE (Women in Science Expo\, formally Women in Science) on Saturday\, March 4\, from 11-2pm. \nThe free event features women scientist presenters discussing and giving hands-on demonstrations of a wide variety of subjects. The Expo welcomes children of all ages\, their families\, and the public. In addition to the presentations\, Peregrine School will be selling baked goods and pesto pasta. \nWISE will be presented at Peregrine’s South Campus located at 2650 Lillard Drive\, Davis. \nWISE will showcase many topics including botany\, statistics for wildlife research and how it is used to answer wildlife questions\, a solar oven demonstration\, making a bookmark using chromatography\, and even a video game challenging visitors to identify pills vs candies. The Expo will be entertaining\, informative\, and inspiring.
