SUMMARY:Electrify Your Strings: Mark Wood & Friends Perform
DESCRIPTION:International recording artist Mark Wood\, an original member of the multi platinum selling Trans-Siberian Orchestra and creator of the revolutionary music education program “Electrify Your Strings!” is coming to Davis to perform at the Richard Brunelle Performance Hall at Davis Senior High. Mark will be performing with orchestra and choir students from across the entire DJUSD Music Program in a full articulation presentation from Elementary\, Junior High\, through the senior Senior High. To prepare for this concert\, in class daily\, students have been studying a collection of rock tunes arranged and or composed by Mark Wood. Upon Mark’s arrival\, he will be coaching them on improvisation\, compositional techniques\, and personal expression with their voice and instruments. This do not miss exciting event will inspire and transform our music students into full-fledged ROCK STARS!\nTwo concerts the same evening\, one at 6 p.m. the second at 8 p.m.
