SUMMARY:BREAKFAST WITH SANTA
DESCRIPTION:Now in its 18th year\, the Davis Odd Fellows Lodge will sponsor Breakfast with Santa at the Odd Fellows Hall\, 415 Second Street\, Downtown Davis\, on Saturday\, December 13. \nChildren in the Davis area will have the opportunity to have breakfast and a visit with Santa Claus. This annual event\, begun in 2005 (we took a brief break during the pandemic years)\, provides a hearty breakfast for both adults and children. Breakfast includes pancakes\, sausage\, fruit\, cereal and more. There will be juice and milk for the kids\, and coffee for the adults. Children will get a chance to spend quality time with Santa for last-minute gift requests and will also receive a goodie bag. \nThrough generous sponsors\, this event raises money to help support youth in the area through college scholarships for students who attend DaVinci High School and for various non-profit foster care and kinship programs in Yolo County. \nThere will be three seatings for breakfast this year. The first is at 8:00 am\, the second is at 9:30 am and the last one is at 11:00 am. Please note that there is limited space for each time slot\, so tickets are only good for the seating you select. You cannot purchase tickets at one time and hope to be seated at a different time. \nTickets to the event are available online only through EventBrite at the following link: https://davisoddfellowsbreakfastwithsanta2025.eventbrite.com and will go on sale on November 10. Prices this year are $12.50 for children under 12 and $20 for anyone age 12 or older. There are limited seats available in each sitting\, so get your tickets early! \nThe Davis Odd Fellows Lodge is a fraternal order dedicated to “friendship\, love and truth.” It is the oldest private organization in Davis having been chartered in 1870. Currently the Lodge has 383 members\, making it the largest Odd Fellows Lodge in the North America. The Davis Odd Fellows sponsor a wide variety of community events and contribute substantial funds to charitable and community organizations. In addition to the popular Breakfast with Santa\, the Odd Fellows host and sponsor the Zombie Bike Ride\, A Taste of Davis\, the Davis Chocolate Festival\, monthly Odd Fellows Bingo\, Thursday Live!
