DESCRIPTION:FREE D’Addario GUITAR & BASS STRINGS!! \nAnnual Food for Strings Event – Saturday\, Nov 15 – Noon – 2:00PM \nIt’s time again for the annual Watermelon Music Food for Strings Food Drive. For those new to the area\, this has been one of Watermelon Music’s most popular and successful community events. We partner with D’Addario each year and with the Government shut down and extra burden on local Food Pantries\, this year’s event feels even more critical. \nYou bring two (or more) canned or non-perishable food items and your fretted instrument (please limit two instruments per household)\, and we will clean and string with a brand-new set of D’Addario strings. All food is donated to Davis Community Meals & Housing. WIN-WIN-WIN \nPlease note that Davis Community Meals is especially in need of the following items:\n-Ground Coffee\n-Boxed Cereal\n-Canned or Boxed Ready-to-Eat Soup\n-Gatorade or similar Electrolyte Drinks \nWe will string acoustic and electric guitars\, acoustic and electric bass guitars\, mandolins\, banjos\, ukuleles\, and Appalachian dulcimers. Do some good in the local community AND ensure your guitar sounds its best.
