DESCRIPTION:The Photography Club of Davis will meet on Wednesday\, October 16\, from 7:10pm—8:45pm in the Blanchard Room of the Davis Library at 315 E. 14th Street. Guest speaker Susan Lord Bovey will share her experience chasing storms and photographing these incredible weather events. This is a free event open to the public. \nBovey will show how a commercial storm tour works—from the morning briefings and weather forecasts—to the miles of driving to get in position for the afternoon storms. She says\, “Weather in the Midwest and High Plains can be very temperamental\, and we never know what we’ll experience.
