DESCRIPTION:UC Davis Biodiversity Museum Day is an annual celebration that showcases the incredible diversity of life on Earth and the scientific efforts to understand and protect it. Held on the UC Davis campus\, this free\, family-friendly event invites the public to explore the university’s world-renowned natural history collections\, museums\, and research centers through interactive exhibits\, engaging activities\, and behind-the-scenes tours. Each of the 10 participating museums have a separate schedule and offerings\, but most of the activities are from 10 am – 2 pm\, with a few starting earlier and ending later.

DESCRIPTION:Laurie Friedman\, an award-winning photographer and world-traveler\, has over 100 stamps in her passports!  She usually doesn’t revisit a country as there are too many new places to go—but she enjoyed two countries so much that she wanted to return\, and one of them was Morocco.  (Come to the program to find out the identity of the second country.)\nWhen she saw an affordable\, comprehensive tour to Morocco\, visiting places she hadn’t seen on her first trip\, she signed up.  Please join us as we explore this varied and amazing country\, visiting capital cities\, roman ruins\, the Blue City of Chefchaouen\, the ancient city of Fez\, and the Merzouga Sand Seas on camel. \n
