SUMMARY:Wine Connoisseurs & Vintners Series: Harvest
DESCRIPTION:The finale of our Wine Connoisseurs & Vintners series is inspired by the harvest. Out in the vineyard\, we’ll be harvesting grapes and taking part in the time honored tradition of crushing grapes by foot! In the winery\, the grapes will be crushed and destemmed. We’ll also punch down the grapes that are currently in the fermentation process. As with the other events in the series\, the event will end with a harvest lunch and wine! \nWine Connoisseurs & Vintners Series \nGreat wines originate in the vineyard\, are created in the winery\, and aged to perfection in the cellar.  Our Wine Connoisseurs & Vintners series will take you through the whole process from grape growing\, through wine making to wine appreciation. \nThese events are designed for anyone from wine connoisseurs to keen enthusiasts looking to learn more about wine through a series of fun and educational hands-on experiences. \nYou are welcome to come to 1 or all 5 events in this series. You learn something new on each occasion\, with each starting in the morning and finishing with a light lunch at noon.
