This event is free and for all ages. \n  \nAbout The Nickel Slots \nThe Nickel Slots take you on a journey through hard times and desperation that always carries hope that better things are just around the corner. With influence from early roots Americana music as well as a touch of rebellious ’70s punk\, The Nickel Slots draw the line that connects Johnny Cash to The Clash. Together since 2008\, they have toured five times in Europe and opened for Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band\, but still find joy playing at small clubs in their native Sacramento.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Yolo County Toys for Tots Benefit Concert at Sudwerk! \nCome enjoy live performances in the Beer Hall by local band\, Mumbo Gumbo\, while supporting a wonderful cause. Every year\, Toys for Tots collects and distributes toys to gift to children during the holiday season\, and we’re proud to help them kickstart the season with a benefit concert! \nTicket proceeds from this event will go toward the Yolo County Toys for Tots. \nTickets are $40 and kids 12 years and under are free. \nBuy Tickets\nAbout Toys for Tots\nThe mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new\, unwrapped toys during October\, November and December each year\, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. \nLearn more about the organization here.
