DESCRIPTION:Nashville Honeymoon is the November Thursday Live! show at the Odd Fellows Hall. \nBorn in Berkeley and nurtured in live music venues on both sides of the Bay\, Nashville Honeymoon is a honkytonk band that plays their own special brand of California country.\nNashville Honeymoon is Lynne Maes and Hank Maninger\, along with bandmates Tim Wagar and Leor Beary. The band offers a distinctive sound and original compositions that honor traditional country music while deliberately pushing its boundaries. Hank’s driving lead guitar\, perfectly balanced by Lynne’s true-blue vocals\, are – as the old song goes – the right combination. Add tight vocal harmonies\, a rhythm section that can play a country shuffle every bit as well as a country rock anthem\, and you’ve got a dynamic and heartfelt show every time they hit the stage.\nHank has been active on the roots music scene since the early 80’s\, playing in bands such as Bonnie Hayes and the Wild Combo and internationally with the Hacienda Brothers. When he’s not busy with Nashville Honeymoon\, Hank leads his own roots trio (Hank Maninger and the Jukebox Charlies)\, and plays bass with The Seducers.\nNashville Honeymoon is proud to have one of the tightest rhythm sections around\, with Tim Wager on electric bass and Leor Beary on drums.\nThursday Live! is presented by the Davis Odd Fellows with the support of KDRT Radio.
