Free admission! \n  \nWomen’s Work \nApr. 12 – May 31 (New!) \nWomen artists have long used humor and satire to critique the unequal treatment of women\, in areas from reproductive rights to their depiction in the media. Women’s Work is a sampling of contemporary sculpture and paintings by thirteen artists who redefine gender and femininity through their art. \n  \nErica Norelius: Natural Places & Urban Spaces \nMar. 1 – Apr. 28 \nErica Norelius’ new series of work offers an in-depth dive into the natural spaces of the Golden State\, reaching from the coastal cities and desert areas\, north towards Oregon. The quiet presence of man is often seen in small intrusions such as power lines and roads. Equally compelling are her captivating cityscapes\, which capture the busy highways and urban street life of Oakland and San Francisco. \n  \nPhotography by Jacob Brody \nApr. 5 – May 17 (New!) \nThis month\, we are featuring a new collection of photography by Jacob Brody along the stairway as part of Photography Month Sacramento. His work experiments with the technology of his time by merging analogue and digital photography\, producing a rich variance of color and depth in his photographs. Once his files are polished with software\, he designs and builds his own frames to enhance his photography. \n  \n— \n  \nVisit the Pence and other venues in Downtown Davis for the 2nd Friday artwalk.
