SUMMARY:Bloom Ritual\, Roni Jean\, & Valley Taylor Post-Halloween Costume Party Live
DESCRIPTION:A Halloween costume party featuring Roni Jean\, Bloom Ritual and Valley Taylor. Costume not required; but best costume wins a 3 band merch package! \nRoni Jean carves out a unique niche with a blend of Haunted Indie Rock\, Dreampop\, and Shoegaze in Sacramento\, CA. Their music weaves lush\, dynamic soundscapes with a melodic melancholy that always carries an undeniable edge. Drawing inspiration from artists like Sir Chloe\, Wisp\, and Radiohead\, Roni Jean moves seamlessly between moments of delicate vulnerability and explosive\, powerful expression. \nBloom Ritual; from my rat infested studio to your ears. From an alternative foundation\, Bloom Ritual bleeds into adjacent genres such as psychedelic\, shoegaze\, indie rock and post-hardcore. The latter sound is more easily recognizable in the upcoming EP release\, whereas the band’s previously released tracks\, such as “Heaven” and “Fish Bowl\,” are closely tethered to the ethereal shoegaze genre. It’s psychedelic rock that doesn’t try hard to be psychedelic; it just seems to end up there after all the genres blend together. \nValley Taylor; Valley Taylor makes songs\, drawings\, videos and other things in El Cerrito\, California. The music moves somewhere between Indie Rock\, lo-fi Folk and Ambient Music\, usually built from guitars\, old sounds\, field recordings and whatever else happens to make its way in. Sometimes it becomes a record. Sometimes it becomes a drawing or a little film. Sometimes it just lives on the internet somewhere. \n$15 General Admission\n$10 Students (in-store or at the door with Student ID only)\nDoors open @ 7:00pm\nCash or Venmo at the door only (no Credit Card) \nThis is a BYOB event!

SUMMARY:Star Vista\, 5th Street Gallos\, & Dark Satellite Live
DESCRIPTION:Off color and off the rails. Star Vista\, 5th St Gallos and Dark Satellite are rockin’ melons on stage at the Melon Ball. Strap in for the ultimate thrill ride and get your melon rocked!! \nSTAR VISTA is ready to set the world ablaze with their electrifying brand of pop savvy\, fist pumping rock n roll. Breaking out onto Sacramento’s vibrant music scene\, STAR VISTA is on a mission to bring big\, fun and exciting rock music to the good people. \nTheir music is loaded with catchy hooks\, infectious guitar riffs\, smooth bass grooves\, stellar drums\, impassioned vocals\, and are sure to bring out the inner rocker in any music fan. \n5TH St Gallos – The music curated by the Gallos of the Fifth can be described as an amalgamated sound bringing folk punk vocals through prog heavy bass riffs\, riding out jazz metal groves on percussion. \nThey hail from the “Dirty 530” aka YOLO County or more reasonably known as Woodland. Through their love of music\, art\, literature and snuff films these three locals have combined forces to bring a raw\, guttural natural energy that leaves audiences in a state of motion. \nMexican culture is evident in their music as they sing in Spanish at times over punk heavy melodic riffs or dark themes of death and consumption in varied time signatures. \nFifth Street Gallos were born through ear splitting train whistles waking up members at their “Coop” the infamous band party house on 5th where Roosters\, hens and chicks openly roamed the street and sang through the day. \nThe Gallos intend to take audiences to the after party reality that is the birth of their sound – Like the birds chirping in the morning and the sun rising\, exposing all your flaws while cleansing you of previous woes. \nDARK SATELLITE – From multiple cities and influences of music\, comes a band that has quickly carved their own sonic path. Dark Satellite’s three members grew up playing different styles\, coming together to form a one of a kind band with a coalescence of riffs and song structures. Mixing various types of rock genres\, blues\, jazz and experimental indie progressions\, results in their own unique aesthetic and wall of sound. \nTheir current album “Splitting Image” was released in August of 2025. As well as written and recorded in about a year and a half in between Dark Satellite’s touring schedule. Every riff\, chord and melody that struck an emotional kick with all members was included in this album. “Splitting Image” came to life on its own. Through every set back and downfall they faced as a band they decided to keep pushing\, keep booking\, and to keep writing. This current album showcases what the band has been through\, and the overall direction they are going in\, style and attitude wise. \nAll members are constantly becoming inspired by one another and want nothing but to sound like themselves. Dark Satellite is Charlie Hanlon\, Trevor Gabriel and Travis Drumm. Currently gigging all over California. As well as touring to Portland\, Seattle and Wisconsin. \n$15 General Admission\nDoors open at 7:30pm \nCash or Venmo at the door only (no Credit Card) \nThis is a BYOB event!
