15th Annual Soup Night & Silent Auction by Soroptimist Int’l of Davis

For over fifteen years, Soroptimist International of Davis has been a beacon of community spirit, and our annual Soup Night and Silent Auction is where it all comes to life.
What makes our silent auction a crowd-puller? It’s the meticulously crafted themed baskets, each one a labor of love from our dedicated members and generous local businesses. From artisanal gifts to experiences you won’t find elsewhere, our auction is a celebration of community generosity and creativity.
All of this is not just for a good time, but for a great cause: supporting local service organizations in their mission to make a difference.
This year, we’re partnering with Thriving Pink to better the lives of lives of breast cancer survivors and their families here in Yolo County. Join us at our new location at the Veterans Memorial Center, for an evening that promises more than just good food and company.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Event is on Thursday, October 24 at the Veterans Memorial Center (203 E. 14th St).
- Doors open and the silent auction kicks off simultaneously at 5:30 p.m., setting the stage for an evening of community, connection, and a touch of competitive bidding.
- You’ll have until 7:30 p.m. to secure your winning bids on our themed gift baskets and items from community businesses.
- Ticket price is $25 in advance, $30 at the door (adults); $15 in advance, $20 at the door (students + children over 5); free (children 5 & under).
Need a drink to mull over your bids? Every adult ticket comes with a coupon good for one alcoholic beverage—beer or wine offered by local breweries and wineries. And when it comes to payment, we make it easy—cash, credit cards, and checks are all welcome.
But this is more than just a night out. It’s an opportunity to be part of something bigger. Soroptimist International of Davis is committed to empowering women and girls through education and training. Funds raised from this event will support these vital programs in Davis and throughout Yolo County.
