Seasonal Gestures: Paintings by Gayle BonDurant
Visit the Pence Gallery to view a new exhibit featuring art by Gayle BonDurant. The evocative feel of seasonal change in nature is the catalyst behind BonDurant’s drawings and paintings. She works in several media, from cold wax and oil paint to graphite and watercolor. Her subject matter and style are dependent upon what medium she is engaged with—she writes, “While my watercolor paintings and graphite drawings are very representational, my cold wax and oil panels try to render moods or atmospheres.”
At 4 pm on May 1, Director Natalie Nelson will give a quick tour of Gayle BonDurant’s exhibit at in conjunction with the Pence Gallery’s Annual Garden Tour event. Learn more about Garden Tour here: https://pencegallery.org/events/garden-tour/
