The watercolor paintings of Misuk Goltz convey a world seen through both her travels and daily life that is full of emotional resonance. As an artist who has used travel journals to record and expand upon her experiences around the world, she has a wealth of visual moments to share. The World We Live In largely centers on her vignettes from these travels, alongside rural scenes from our region. In her detailed naturalism, she reveals the shared humanity of her subjects she’s sketched.
