THRU FEB 29. GALLERY 1855. Eppele works with acrylic paint, incorporating nature themes throughout her works as a nod to her Environmental Science and Management degree from UCD. Free
UCD DESIGN MUSEUM. This exhibition explores racism through cartoons, showcasing the work of pioneering father/daughter cartoonists the late Brumsic Brandon, Jr. & Barbara Brandon-Croft who chronicled the nation’s cultural landscape in their comic strips through the lens of racism. 12p–4p. Free
THE ARTERY. Complementary, Mixed Media and Jewelry by Schorré Chevalier Oldham’s shows yearlong experiment with color. The focus of the show is Project 365, where she created a work of art on a 4×4-inch piece of paper every day of 2023. Plus other pieces & jewelry inspired by her immersion in color. Free
PENCE GALLERY. The watercolor paintings of Misuk Goltz convey a world seen through both her travels and daily life that is full of emotional resonance. The World We Live In largely centers on her vignettes from these travels, alongside rural scenes from our region. DELTA OF VENUS. Chris Corsano is a New York-based drummer who has been active at the intersections of collective improvisation, free jazz, avant-rock, and experimental music since the late 1990’s. Jon Raskin is best known as a member of the Rova Saxophone Quartet, one of the longest-standing groups in the music movement that has its roots in post-bop, free jazz, avant-rock, and 20th century new music. 7:30p—9:30p. $10—20
