THRU DEC 1. UC DAVIS DESIGN MUSEAM (CRUESS HALL, ROOM 124). Exhibit features exquisite African ceremonial textiles, Miao costumes from southwest China, & various Japanese kimonos displayed alongside contemporary textile work. these aesthetically unique objects convey a cultural crossroads in the world of design. 12p–4p. THE ARTERY. Long-time Artery members, Sharon McCallum and Lucy B. Della Rosa display their work on artistic hats and scarves using a variety of techniques – weaving, felting, knitting, and crochet. 10a—6p. Free

THRU DEC 2. JOHN NATSOULAS GALLERY. An exhibition featuring 365 ceramic rabbits, each one uniquely capturing a different reflection of the human experience. Aguirre, a celebrated ceramic artist known for depicting the human condition, is donating proceeds from the collection to the UCLA Brain Cancer Research Center in honor of her daughter, Kailei. Free

MANETTI SHREM MUSEUM. Natsoulas’ humorous, large-scale figurative ceramic pieces are regularly exhibited and are in 15 museums’ permanent collections, including a large sculpture recently acquired by San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Grenier, a fine art photographer, will share images from his travels to Sri Lanka, India, Australia, Iceland, Argentina, Chile, Banff NP in Canada, & several places of interest in the USA. Sky Hopinka, member of the Ho-Chunk Nation/Pechanga Band of Luiseño Indians, creates video, photo & text work highlights personal positions of Indigenous homeland, landscape, & language as containers of culture expressed through personal, documentary & nonfiction forms of media. 4:30p–6p. THE ARTERY. Using a combination of materials, Jack creates dynamic images that celebrate the beauty in everyday surroundings. “Blanketed” refers to his layering process, beginning with a watercolor, pastel and acrylic background applied with spray or airbrush. 10a—6p.

DAVIS CEMETERY. For the closing of this exhibition, the work will be re-installed throughout the grounds of the cemetery. Visitors will be guided through a walking meditation of the cemetery that will culminate in the opportunity to receive healing song from members of the Davis Threshold Singers. A public ancestor altar will be present as part of the cemetery’s observation of Dia de Los Muertos. 4p—6p. Free
