PENCE GALLERY. Slice celebrates the diversity of expression in our region with an array of sculpture, prints, paintings, and photography created by 36 visual artists. Representing a ‘slice’ of work fresh from the studio produced by new and established artists working in the state, this annual juried exhibit has quickly gained a reputation for displaying innovative and thought-provoking work. PENCE GALLERY. Mirabel Wigon’s Earth Stars brings together her expansive new series of botanical inspired paintings. Working in oil and acrylic on canvas, her paintings have an illustrative quality, immersing the viewer in imaginative worlds where flora works in tandem with geometric forms.
